6 天前 · I loved your photos DLi_HK, thank you. The 150yo sakura tree was just stunning!! The dessert at the Yufuin coffeehouse looked so delicious. I will get different scenery in that area in December, but I enjoyed catching a glimpse of it now.

The art museum was quite good.The ACAO « Forest » Garden had magnificent views of the coast on a February day with perfect weather. But, I wouldn’t go a second time. I’ve been to Hakone a few times.

While rainy days can never be ruled out in Japan, the odds are much lower in winter. refer to weather in Fuji Kawaguchi-ko in Dec 2023 when non-sunny days are roughly 10% from 20th Dec.

I'm not a big fan of pre booking rooms preferring some flexability. Travelling in October will it be a probleming finding accommodation as we travel?
