Dosage/Direction for Use. Adult Duodenal ulcer 15 mg once daily for 4 wk. Maintenance of healed duodenal ulcer: 15 mg once daily. H. pylori eradication to reduce risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence Triple-therapy: 30 mg bd + amoxicillin 1 g bd + clarithromycin 500 mg bd for 10-14 days. Dual-therapy: 30 mg tds + amoxicillin 1 g tds for 14 days.
Special Precautions. Careful Administration: This product should be used with caution in the following patients: Patients with bronchial asthma (there is a risk of patients having possible latent aspirin-induced asthma). Gout 80 mg once daily. May consider 120 mg once daily if serum uric acid is >6 mg/dL (357 micromole/L) after 2-4 wk. Patient w/ mild hepatic impairment 80 mg. TLS 120 mg once daily. Start 2 days before the beginning of cytotoxic therapy & continue for a min of 7 days. May be prolonged up to 9 days according to chemotherapy duration.
