I understand this have been discussed many times and seems tocoo had make it a point that a lot of extras is mandatory. Additional support (810yen), ETC card rental (324yen), TEP (1000yen) and registration 4000yen for ETC card. There is no option to opt out.
2024年4月29日 · I want a car for the period 14 august 17:00 until 19 august 09:00 for a Standard / Mid sized car. On Tocoo, the rent for these days are 20500JPY + 6500 JPY for insurance = 27000 JPY. And on Budget (the same car, but renting direct on their website) is: 41000JPY + 10000 JPY for insurance = 51000 JPY.

You would have to drop the car off the night before. You can contact Tocoo through the link below. Normally, they have good English customer support.
2023年12月20日 · ToCoo offers good English support. The major rental car companies work through them, too. In recent trips, I have usually ended up getting my car through Rakuten's Japanese site. They sometimes have deals that give cheaper rates than other brokers. Jalan in Japanese is another source.
