Hello, I am a photographer planning an engagement shoot in Japan and I just realized our possible dates will be in Golden Week. Im concerned about the iconic backdrops being crowded. We were considering going to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido and we are concerned that maybe it will be too busy.

We have been there before and stayed in Shinjuku due to the accessability to train station, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. I would like to know if there might be another area that’s similar where we can stay.

We plan on going to Osaka and Tokyo. When we usally stay in hotels we normally book a twin room (with two double/queen beds) or a room with a queen/king sized bed.
