4 天前 · Things to Do in Japan with Kids. 1. Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The side streets up to the temple are well worth a look as they are traditional Japanese streets and we just loved it... 2. Kinkakuji Temple. I highly recommend anyone visiting Kyoto to visit this location as the temple and the gardens are absolutely gorgeous.
4 天前 · I need to go to Tokushima from any airport I can fly to in Japan from the USA east coast. The flight is far too long by itself. I have checked out public transport and it takes 3.5 hours+ which may kill me. I'm torn between visiting the Yutoku Inari Shrine in Kashima or Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine during an upcoming Oct trip to Kyushu. It'll be my first time to Kyushu and wondering which of the 2 shrines is more worth visiting. Thanks in advance for any advice. Reply.

Never been to Nikko or enoshima island. I just read that there is a cave in enoshima and perhaps you can do it together with kamakura?
