However, along the coastline roads are narrow and winding thus steering speed would dial down to 30/40 km/h on average. There are plenty of worthy spots so allow at least 3 days even by car. refer to one of my visits along the eastern coastline to Shimoda in 3 days.
2024年4月19日 · Itinerary help? Apr 19, 2024, 11:26 PM. We will fly in and out of Narita and be in Japan for 9 days after Christmas and into the New Year. The length and timing of our trip cannot be helped bc trying to accommodate family’s different winter break periods, and we know that this is not an ideal time to travel to Japan bc of New Year closures.
2024年4月16日 · 1. Re: Best views of Lake Inawashiro. Inawashiro-ko is huge - some locals joke to their kids that it's a sea on local TV program. For views, check out the lake cruise area along the northern shoreline by R49. If time allows, I highly recommend visiting Urabandai area to the north where Hibara-ko, Akimoto-ko and Goshiki-numa are all worthwhile.

Though Mt Tsurumi @1300m is nearby, the hike from the top ropeway station takes about 20 min. My visit in late May 2019.
