Only starting my research for the overall area, how to maximise our time here and I need to ask: (We will be relying on public transport for this trip & want to see as much as we can ~ low to medium budget)

2023年8月31日 · I have really appreciated all the input, and amended my itinerary accordingly! I'm currently planning my overnight stop in Hakodate - this will be in mid January - we should be checked into our hotel near the market by 3pm, and then we're leaving again at midday the next day.

We are not experienced in winter driving at all, so don't want to hire a car.

I’m looking at arriving into Hokkaido on October 20th via the ferry from Tokyo. So far my itinerary looks like this:
