綠島的民宿通常會有碼頭接送，一下船就可以看到眾多民宿接送人員，碼頭外也有很多租車行。 南寮碼頭也有離島免稅商店，不過是在港區北側外的重劃區，搭船碼頭入口在港區南端，距離有點遠，購買免稅品要預留多一點時間，或是買完免稅品再去碼頭旁的租車行還車。
