May 6, 2024, 2:06 PM. 2 families of 4 members each (each family has 2 adults 50-57 years age group and 2 young adults 20-26 years age group) will be visiting Japan for the 1st time from May 12-20. I have travelled on business many times to Japan, but 1st time with family.

We're reasonably fit seniors from southern California and enjoy hiking up to eight miles per day with moderate elevation changes. We love seeing animals (excited for sloths and monkeys!) and scenery and will rent a car.
5 天前 · 1. Re: From Haneda Airport to Roppingi. May 6, 2024, 2:35 PM. There is no direct train or bus from HND to Roppongi. I would take the monorail to Hamamatsucho and a taxi from there. If you don't want to pay for a taxi, take the Keikyu Line to Daimon and transfer to the Oedo Line to Roppongi. Reply.
5 天前 · 1. Re: The grand Nikko Tokyo diaba travel advice. May 6, 2024, 6:53 AM. You get off at Shinagawa and change to Yamanote Line for Shimbashi and get on the Yurikamome Line for Daiba. Yurikamome is like a monorail so it is upstairs after you go out of the JR Station. The Yurikamome Line ride will be 15 minutes.
4 天前 · 3. Re: Kichijoji vs Nakameguro and Jiyugaoka. May 7, 2024, 10:11 AM. Kichijoji is much bigger and has more shops, restaurants, and shopping streets. There is a huge park there, too. I find Nakameguro boring other than the Sakura time. Jiyugaoka is quite small, but has smome great cafas and sweets. Reply.

Hi, We are a couple planning self-drive itinerary in Japan, planning to explore Nagoya & Mt Fuji which we had missed when we went there years back. We will be arriving in Osaka Kansai International Airport, and will be renting a car.
4 天前 · Tateyama Transfer Time. May 7, 2024, 5:40 AM. Hello, I have tickets for the Alpine Route (Toyama to Ogizawa) with a cable car at 10:40 from Tateyama. According to the timetable, there is a Toyama Chiho train that arrives at 10:27, giving me 13minutes to catch the cable car. Will 13 minutes be enough time to make my transfer?
