On January 1st 1993, at approximately 12:05 a.m., a crowd of New Year’s Eve revellers emptied out of bars in Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong’s Central District. As some 20,000 people began to push in the small, sloped streets and alleys, it took only moments for some to fall on roads slick with the foam of sprayed beer and champagne.

今年計劃包括以「防災！從生活出發」為主題的微電影創作比賽，歡迎中學及大專院校學生參與，通過微電影表達日常生活中的災難危機及相應預防措施，帶出防護災難的重要性，以及預防災難並非難事的訊息。
