4 天前 · 57 helpful votes. Transporting Tokyo to Kawaguchiko, Direct Train. Apr 26, 2024, 9:54 AM. From Tokyo to Kawaguchiko, there is only the Fuji Excursion train which goes directly. No change of trains en route. This leaves from Shinjuku. We used this train to visit Kawaguchiko. Comfortable journey. Time - 2 hours one way.

5 天前 · We are staying for 2-nights in Hakone. However, we do not have private onsen. It appears that all hotels or Ryokans with private onsen in Hakone are already booked. Is there a way to rent private onsen in the area for an hour or so?

The kids (late teens) want to spend some time in the snow. We don’t ski but enjoy snowshoeing, onsens and just the novelty of being in a snowy place.
