Hsing Yun (Chinese: 星雲; pinyin: Xīng Yún; 19 August 1927 – 5 February 2023) was a Chinese Buddhist monk, teacher, and philanthropist based in Taiwan. He was the founder of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist monastic order as well as the layperson -based Buddha's Light International Association .

星雲大師畢生致力於弘揚「人間佛教」，其願力宏偉，慈悲廣大，佛學深厚，解行相應。 現壽九十一歲、出家近八十年、弘法六十餘載，大師對佛教的貢獻，可謂厥功甚偉。 編輯委員會對彙編中的《星雲大師全集》，有下述幾點說明： 第一、此次《星雲大師全集》，收錄大師中文圖書著作，將大師重要的作品重新編排造冊，系列性分門歸類，全套共三六五冊（重一五〇公斤）。 共三千餘萬字、五萬篇條目，種類豐富、論述多元，可謂包羅萬象，一應俱全。 從這裡，可以認識星雲大師，也了解這個時代人間佛教的發展現況。 大師除了中文著作以外，另有英文、法文、葡文、德文、西文、韓文、日文等二十餘種語言翻譯，則不收錄在《全集》中。
