Being the first real time away sans children, we were looking forward to some ‘us’ time… mostly doing things at our own pace, when we wanted etc etc.

It’s been 24 years since I have been here and I was 26 and staying at a youth hostel back then now I’m a grown-up and I’m staying at a hotel right across from the Kyoto JR station.
