Exclusive breastfeeding status. Of 5237 infants under 6 months of age and included in the analyses, 94.5% were breastfed. The overall exclusive breastfeeding rate was 29.5%; it ranged from 32.8 to 34.7% among infants in the first 4 months, but was lower among 4-month and 5-month infants (24.8 and 15.9% respectively).
