This will begin tomorrow and continue for 10 days.

Hang Seng increased 302.82 points or 1.59% to 19,376.53.

Belgium, often seen as a custodian of China’s holdings, disposed of US$22 billion of Treasuries during the period.

Retail spending decreased 0.6% from April to March, undermining forecasts of a 0.4% decrease. Yet, Americans are spending MORE on the essentials such as groceries.
