白老文化観光推進実行委員会:白老町で6月に、さまざまな分野のメンバーが加わったまちぐるみで地域の活性化を目指す「白老文化観光推進実行委員会」が立ち上がった。 実行委員会は、会⻑に白老町⻑、顧問に町議会議⻑、アイヌ協会理事⻑が務めている。 会⻑は商工会会⻑、副会⻑は観光協会会⻑、建設協会会⻑、町内会連合会会⻑、文化代替連絡協議会会⻑、そして委員にはNPO法人、⻘年会議所、文化芸術関連企業・団体と、各界で構成するまちぐるみの組織。 「白老の文化芸術と観光経済の一体的推進によるまちの活性化」の目標で文化庁などの「日本博」採択を受け、「白老文化共創ROOTS&ARTS」事業をスタートした。
