2024年4月22日 · 3. Re: Hotel and activity recommendations Takamatsu. JR hotel clement (full service, not that expensive, with Seto sea and city views) and JR inn clement (even cheaper business hotel) next to each other. 1 minute walk to train station, airport bus, and 3 minute walk to the ferry port.

We plan on going to Osaka and Tokyo. When we usally stay in hotels we normally book a twin room (with two double/queen beds) or a room with a queen/king sized bed.

They are notorious for having tiny rooms, and Roppongi is where expats and foreign tourists who seek adult entertainment hang out. The area is not attractive (to me) and inconvenient for getting around Tokyo.

Lots of reviews on various sites including tripadvisor. 4.1 out of 5 on various Japanese language booking sites. High score. I have stayed at other Via Inns and all are very modern and stylish.
2024年4月28日 · Have read that Asakusa and Ueno have easy access to Narita (handy for end of stay) and are decent areas to stay. But they're on the other side of town to Shibuya and Shinjuku - which we'll probably want to visit for shopping and food. Asakasa and Roppongi seem decent too according to some reviews.

I dislike the bus in Kyoto and rarely take one but from Kyoto Station to Kawaramachi Sanjo is an exception. You can take the bus 4, 17 or 205. Get off at Kawaramachi Sanjo for the Cross Hitel, and get off at Kyoto Shiyakushomae for Solaria Nishitetsu.
