6 天前 · My wife and I, in our fifties, are first-time visitors to Japan planning a 12-day trip in early December. Our initial itinerary includes landing in Tokyo on Day 1, spending days 2 to 6 in Tokyo, traveling to Kyoto on Day 7, exploring Kyoto from Day 8 to 10, heading back to Tokyo on Day 11, and flying back home from Tokyo on Day 12.

We know there is so much to see and do in Japan but we don't want the trip to be too hectic, so we are thinking Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto as our main destinations in the 13 days, with side trips from those cities. ...
6 天前 · I see many tours from Tokyo but we will be staying in Hakone for 2 nights and want to spend one day in Hakone, one day in Mt.Fuji and be back to Hakone to take a shinkansen from Odawara to Kyoto the following day. Doing the trip via public transport looks very hectic and time consuming. We cannot rent a car.
6 天前 · We like culture, history and like to learn about traditions and spiritual beliefs of the places we visit. (I’m thinking we could manage 3, possibly 4, sites from 10am-4pm). - Kiyomizu Dera. - Fushimi Inari. - Nijo Castle. - Kyoto Imperial Palace. - Gion (the streets where we’re allowed)

We see that there are so many places to go and see and things to do that we are trying to prioritize - so, any suggested itineraries would be very appreciated. Thank you!
