龙王庙行宫始建于清朝顺治年间，保留的非常完整，具有当地的建筑风格，建造的中规中矩，左右对称，如同宫殿一般，特别是外边朱红色的院墙，远远看去以为是小型的故宫。乾隆皇帝六下江南曾经五次驻留于此，足见其重要性。
