Kinomiya Shrine is home to a 2,000 year old Camphor tree that was saved from being cut down by a mysterious vision 2,000 years ago. The fragrance of the camphor tree fills the shrine with a soft and delicate smell. Surprisingly, it smells to me a little like Sassafras the American root used to make root beer.
