  6. 古箏是中國最古老彈弦樂器之一。 早在春秋戰國時期,就已盛行於陝西和甘肅一帶。 公元前237年李上書秦始皇時,曾如此描述當時民間箏歌場面:“夫擊瓮叩 ,彈箏搏 而歌乎鳴鳴,快耳目者,真秦之聲也。 ” 之后,箏常因此被稱為“秦箏。 據古文獻記載,箏最早為“五弦筑身也”,一般認為箏是由早期的五弦發展為漢代十二弦,進而為隋唐十三弦箏,明代增至十四,十五弦,到近代才出現了十六弦乃至現代的二十一至二十六弦箏。 近年江西貴溪春秋崖墳群出土了倆張十三弦箏,彌補了文獻記載的不足,表明古箏早已傳入中國南部。 可見十三弦箏并非產生于十二弦箏之后,而是早就與之并存。 早期箏的表演形式主要是彈唱的箏歌。 隨著漢代相和歌的興起,古箏藝朮進入了一個全新的時代,并逐步發展為六七種絲竹樂器耕相迭奏,歌手擊節唱和的形式。
