2022年1月5日 · 所謂「 吉原狐舞 」（吉原の狐舞ひ）是在大晦日夜晚（一年的最後一日，日本的除夕）祝賀新年的舞蹈，一般其他地方是獅子舞，但在吉原卻是「狐舞」，獨特的區域文化也曾被浮世繪大師「葛飾北齋」描繪過。 對傳統文化充滿興趣的百合之介，在台東區的鄉土博物館翻查文獻時，發現了「吉原狐舞」的圖畫，但實際走訪吉原詢問，卻得到查無此舞的回答，原來狐舞早已消失，就連當地的吉原神社也沒有紀錄。 （照片提供：吉福社中） 覺得可惜的百合之介便下定決心要讓吉原狐舞復活，於是他與志同道合的夥伴研究既有文獻，製作出所需的服裝、面具、舞蹈、音樂等，但因為可參考文獻真的太少，有許多細節則是完全原創。
