According to data presented at HKMF 2023, transient elastography (TE) is preferred for noninvasive assessment of fibrosis for patients with chronic liver diseases (CLDs) in Hong Kong.
Indications and Dosage. Adult: 60 mg up to tid at intervals of at least 6 hours. Dosage recommendations may vary among countries or individual products (refer to specific product guidelines). Child: 2-12 years 1 mg/kg/dose up to tid at intervals of at least 6 hours. Max: 3 mg/kg daily. >12 years Same as adult dose.
