參加管弦樂器考試的考生或為其在考試中伴奏的有關人士，須在進入試場後立即調較其樂器，使能與鋼琴調合。根據ABRSM術科考試規則，參加初級至5級管弦樂器考試的考生可請其老師或伴奏協助在考試開始前調較樂器。主考將不會為考生調較樂器。
考評局開放評核中心的網上考試設施及監考服務(1至5級︰465元)。因應考試場地安排及ABRSM考試系統維護日程，於每月開設不同的時段予考生在網上預約此服務。以下是2024年4月至6月可供預約的時段。
