香港首架柴油火車頭贈予鐵路博物館. 香港鐵路博物館今日（五月十八日）添新藏品。 新藏品為首架柴油電動機車 － 「亞歷山大爵士號」，由九廣鐵路公司（九鐵）捐贈予鐵路博物館，由明日起供市民參觀。 「亞歷山大爵士號」於一九五五年至一九九七年投入服務，為首架在香港使用的柴油電動機車。 它以前港督葛量洪爵士（Sir Alexander Grantham）的名字命名，為香港首次以人名命名的火車。 出席今日「亞歷山大爵士號柴油電動機車捐贈典禮」的主禮嘉賓包括康樂及文化事務署署長王倩儀、九鐵署理行政總裁黎文熹、大埔區議會主席鄭俊平及九鐵運輸高級總監李殷泰。 王倩儀致辭時感謝九鐵多年來對鐵路博物館大力支持，除多次捐贈文物外，亦經常提供專業維修和保養建議，使博物館能保持完善的設施和服務。
