5 天前 · With a rail pass you don't have to put in the seat ticket, just the pass works. Insert into the slot, just like entry - the machines are the same (they might have some cosmetic differences). And while 99.99% of the time there is no issue, sometimes the gates malfunction, and that is why there are staff on-hand to help retrieve your ticket/pass.

If you're going to use the subway only, take the Ginza Line from Asakusa to Akasaka Mitsuke and take the Marunouchi Line to Shinjuku. This transfer is just across the platform and super easy. Reply.
