3. Re: booking a flight while renewing your passport. 4 years ago. Save. If you book directly with the airline then they will not request passport information. Some online agents do ask for passport details upfront. Just supply your old details and then change it with the airline before you fly.

As we are in the US and it is a US based property, we decided to take a chance for a 1-night stay.
