2024年4月25日 · 北川執行役（以下：北川） JFOODOは、日本産の農林水産物・食品のブランディングに向け、「オールジャパンでの消費者向けプロモーション」を担う新たな組織として、2017年4月にJETRO（日本貿易振興機構）内に創設されました。 よく「JETROと JFOODOは、どう違うんですか？ 」質問されるのですが、JETROが日本のエクスポーターと海外のインポーターをつなぐBtoBの部分を担っているのに対して、JFOODOは「消費者に対するブランディング」つまりBtoCを主な役割としています。 「日本の食を海外の消費者に直接PRして訴求する」というのが私たちの仕事です。 江幡 「JFOOD」ではなく、最後に「O」がついて「ジェイフード―」と発音するのですね。
