Slo-Theo(theophylline): Continuous symptomatic treatment of persistent asthma & of other forms of COPD. Adult Initially 5-8 mg/kg/day. Usual effective dose: 7-12 mg/kg/day. Max: 800 mg/day. Childn 9-16 yr Initially 10-12 mg/kg/day. Usual effective dose: 10-16 mg
Adult: As conventional tab or oral solution: 10-40 mg 3-4 times daily. Child: As conventional oral solution or tab: 0.25-0.5 mg/kg 3-4 times daily. Oral. Angina pectoris.
