I am wondering if I can pick up 2 TrueMove Tourist SIMs (2 x 8 days SIM) at BKK, but active the second SIM later. Asking as I plan to visit BKK for a week, hop over to Vietnam for a week, and return to Thailand -CNX for 6 days.

First is the issue of frequencies. 5G in particular may not work on frequencies used outside China. And it can be challenging to learn what frequencies a specific model works on.
Answer 1 of 5: Has anyone used their T-Mobile plan from US in Vietnam (specifically, Hanoi)? This plan offers unlimited free text and data at 2G speeds in foreign countries. In Europe it worked like a charm and I was able to get 4G speeds.
