表一列出過去三年間法學專業證書課程的總學額，以及三所法律學院的法學專業證書課程申請者總數。 法學專業證書課程的申請者總數介乎1,210人至1,322人之間，而三所法律學院法學專業證書課程取錄的學生總數介乎608人至650人之間。 粗略來說，這三年間每年每兩名申請者就有一名獲取錄，成功率達五成。 這三年間，港大法學專業證書課程每年取錄的學生介乎320人至340人之間，而申請人數介乎671人至738人之間。 因此，成功率確較整體平均成功率為高。 如果以第一志願申請者計，成功率甚至更高。 2013至2014年度共有359名第一志願申請者報讀全日制學位，而我們就取錄了其中260名。 法律界把入讀法學專業證書課程的標準訂為高等二級乙等學位，而三所法律學院均一直遵循此標準。
