It looks like taking the airport limo is best option or would getting a taxi better for the 5 of us to get to hyatt regency tokyo? Might need van taxi? Does airport limo bus even stop at the regency?

Can we leave the airport and make it back through customs to catch our flight in that timeframe? We will likely have small carryon bags.

Getting through Haneda normally take 40-60 minutes and then you need to get to Tokyo station (requires a transfer). Your flight could be an hour early or an hour late (or more) - you really don't know.

I would go to Kanazawa first ( nice Shinkansen from Tokyo) and stay for 2 nights. Then one night in Takayama with a stopover in Shirakawago for 2-3 hours. Kyoto needs more than 3 days.
