Macao is also a newer Dreams with similar layout to Onyx but it is isolated on Macao beach (only resort there) and as you mentioned, it is a stand alone resort where as Onyx shares amenities with Breathless. Re: Which Dreams resort is right for my family? 1 year ago. With kids that age, Dreams Onyx would be a good choice. One of the newer Dreams located on a beautiful beach. Great for kids with waterpark, lazy river, many pools and loads of activities for kids. Very good food with many options. Was there last month.

From the research I’ve done, it sounds like the Onyx is more more modern and nicer than the Royal Beach. The problem we have is that we’re a family of 5 (kids ages 9,7 &4).
