Performance-wise, ProtonVPN for me has generally been a lot more consistent in performance (bandwidth and latency wise) than Mullvad, where servers sporadically get high ping or die. This might be due to me using SG servers though, which Mullvad doesn't have a lot of.

I use ProtonVPN because of it's strong record with privacy, being based on Switzerland, and the fact it comes with the whole Proton package if you get Unlimited or Family. I would never use a VPN provider based in a 14 eyes country.
2023年8月6日 · It is safe as long as they don't need to investigate you. using ProtonVPN for over a year now I can say they have always protected my privacy. I monitor my network traffic closely and have never seen any concerning leaks or logs from Proton. Proton is nice for privacy, but not the best VPN for speed.
Same here, very happy with ProtonVPN so far and waiting for the Apple TV app, now that Apple TV has allowed VPNs on their platform. In fact, this feature will decide if I renew ProtonVPN or switch to another provider when my subscription expires next year.
2022年11月13日 · Try using the new Stealth mode. I have found that some websites login pages will block ProtonVPN. But once logged in, they work ok with the vpn enabled. Other sites work for a while, maybe several days, but then stop working all of a sudden, until I renew the vpn connection.
