We will be travelling from Tokyo to Kyoto (staying 4 nights) then Kyoto to Hiroshima (staying 2 nights) then on day 7 travelling back to Tokyo. Looking at costs. it seems cheaper to book the trains independently rather than a 7 day JR rail pass. Any advice? Thank you.

5 天前 · Asahikawa - better visit as a day trip from Biei/Furano which is less than 60km away. Add 1n in latter to enjoy farms/spots. For extra days consider Hokkaido East such as Shiretoko 5-lake, Kussharo-ko, Mashu-ko, Akan-ko etc. refer to some of my drives below.
6 天前 · Re: Hostel recommendations in Tokyo, Kyoto, Nikko. May 7, 2024, 12:48 AM. Hostels won't have age limitation so I cannot guarantee that the guests will be their age. There is another one at Nikko really close to the station. I will ask my friend about its name soon. There are also some at Ryogoku, Kuramae and Asakusa.

4 天前 · May 7, 2024, 5:40 AM. Hello, I have tickets for the Alpine Route (Toyama to Ogizawa) with a cable car at 10:40 from Tateyama. According to the timetable, there is a Toyama Chiho train that arrives at 10:27, giving me 13minutes to catch the cable car. Will 13 minutes be enough time to make my transfer?
