Welcome to the Club. The Aberdeen Boat Club was founded in 1967 by like-minded yachting enthusiasts and sports fishermen who wished to enjoy access to the seas off the southern side of Hong Kong Island. The Club was initially housed in relatively humble premises, and incorporated as the Aberdeen Boat Club Ltd. in 1967.

Annual Events & General Information. The Aberdeen Boat Club runs three special annual events, the Opening Regatta, the Four Peaks Race, and the Classic Yacht Rally. In addition, it organizes two major race series: the Waglan Series (Autumn / Winter) and the Summer Series (Spring / Summer).
It is the home to only two inhabitants: Aberdeen Boat Club’s middle island clubhouse and Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club’s middle island facility. Middle Island is home to the Club’s dinghy fleet and also serves as ABC's sail training centre, complete with a purpose-built classroom.
Home About Main Club House. In addition to a number of pubs and restaurants located at its two club houses at Middle Island and Aberdeen, the club also has a number of conference and meeting venues available to club members for hire or use for private functions.
