If you check-in online and get your boarding pass electronically, and you skip the airport kiosk and check-in counter and proceed directly to the gate, you WILL need to approach the gate ahead of boarding to present your passport, assuming it's an international flight. They need a minute or two to run it through the system.

Found Wego.com and found a flight that was a good price and then when clicking on link to me to Ly.com to book. I haven't been able to find any information/reviews on booking through Ly.com for flights.
