3款網絡防衞較遜色 實驗室利用400個從網上下載的惡意程式，測試樣本能否阻擋相關網頁顯示及惡意程式（由於針對MacOS操作系統惡意程式網頁較少，MacOS軟件樣本沒有進行這項測試），大部分樣本均表現不錯，多達20款成功偵察率高於90%，獲4點或以上評分，但有3款較遜色。
USB裝置防衞普遍欠佳 實驗室把對應Windows及MacOS系統的已知惡意程式檔案，儲存在USB裝置內，然後將USB裝置插入離線（offline）及在線（online）狀態下的電腦，大部份樣本因離線時明顯防衛不足拖累評分，惟有4款表現略佳獲3點評分。

知多些：收費及免費軟件有何分別？ 消委會表示，收費產品主要是功能較豐富的網絡安全套裝，通常包含額外功能，例如內置防火牆（firewall）、銀行網頁保護（banking protection）、過濾垃圾郵件（anti-spam）及家長監護（parental control）等；免費產品主要是防惡意程式（anti-malware）軟件，功能以防病毒（anti-virus）及間諜程式（anti-spyware）為主，通常不包括防火牆。
3 天前 · AVG AntiVirus 專業版有提供免費試用 30 天，可以先體驗一個月後，再切換到 Free 免費版也不遲。 介面採圖形化設計，免費版主要分成四大類，「電腦」、「網頁瀏覽」、「身份」與「電子郵件」，Firewall 防火牆則必須升級成專業版才能使用。 另外可以注意到，每一類外圍綠色圈圈代表防護的強度，如果沒有圈滿就代表某功能沒有開啟，不過免費版頂多就這樣，想要完全防護必須升級到專業版才行。 而下方還有掃描以及修復電腦效能功能。 「電腦」保護基本上就是開不開啟 AVG Anti-Virus 防毒防護功能，旁邊還有一個專業版才有的資料保險櫃，主要用來檔案加密。 「網頁瀏覽」提供 “阻止進入有害網站” 與 “下載檔案前先掃描” 兩大功能，免費版只有前者，筆者是認為夠用了！
