BRP卡全称Biometric residence permits，简单说来就是一个包含你生物信息如指纹、照片等的居留卡。 按照英国政府规定，以下几类人群需持有BRP卡： 1、申请在英国停留时间六个月以上的（包括延长签证时长至六个月以上的）； 2、申请在英国定居的； 3、在英国境内，护照过期但需要继续使用签证的； 4、英国境内的非英国公民，无法使用原籍护照但需要离英旅行的（例如持有许可的难民）。 上述四类人群之外，来英短期旅行、进行商务访问或者短期游学的都不需要BRP卡。 怎么申请BRP卡？ 一般说来，BRP卡是不需要单独申请的。 在国内申请英国签证的小伙伴在获得签证的同时就会自动获得一张BRP卡。 BRP卡上所需的生物信息在申请签证时就已经采集过了，相信大家都有印象。
