In Hong Kong they don't really need to discount LV, Chanel, Guggi, etc - there are people lined up outside the store trying to get it. All the luxury stores can be found in major malls - the major ones being Elements, Harbour City , IFC and Pacific Place.
HK is much nearer to Australia than Paris, and more Australians get to go there. It is a haven of cut-price shopping, but also of premium lable stores. Perhasp, though Dale47_11 has personal experience of buying Chanel items in HK, if so, she should come back
