2024年5月3日 · Somewhere around Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto that is less crowded. Basically, a nice lesser known city to explore, like Takayama or Toyama. Not saying they’re unknown but they’re definitely not going to be as crowded as Tokyo. For information, I have 3 kids age 6, 8 and 10.

Day 5: Shinhotakay Ropeway (morning), Shirakawa in the afternoon (stay in Takayama) Day 6: Kanazawa (travel from Takayama, spend the day there and see some highlights, take train to Osaka) Day 7-12: stay in Osaka.

I will have a couple of days to explore Tokyo before the cruise and intend to do. Mt Fuji tour. I was wondering what the best place to stay for the two days would be so I am not too far from Cruise port and city.
