2024年1月22日 · 汽油支出. 香港的油價在全球數一數二，再加上俄烏戰爭進一步推升石油價格。 如果想節省養車成本，其中一個做法是揀選耗油量低的車款，例如柴油/ 電動車/ 油電混能車，不過這類汽車本身的售價較同級汽油車款貴一截。 建議購買前先確定是否可以回本，即會否駕駛這款汽車一段時間，令節省回來的油錢可以補償車價差額。 另外，駕駛的習慣亦是另一個影響耗油量的因素。 如果司機經常加速、急停或常開冷氣會較為耗油。 換句話說，相比經常要停燈位的市區，暢通無阻的高速公路上行走會較為慳油。 其他 慳油 要點包括： 減少車廂負重 ，曾經有研究指出，車身每減少 100 磅便可省油 1% 至 2%。 保持適當車胎氣壓 ，盡量避免把改裝汽車輪圈加大，因為這樣反而會令起步及加速更遲鈍，變相增加耗油量，甚或會加大波箱等零件的損耗。
