   2021年7月7日 · 該科的就業顧問透過深入面談，了解個別殘疾人士的資歷、技能、經驗、求職意願等，為他們提供就業輔導，協助他們了解本身的工作能力及市場需求，主動為他們進行工作選配，找尋適合的空缺及作出轉介，並引薦殘疾人士與僱主進行面試。 當殘疾人士獲僱主聘用後，就業顧問會為他們提供不少於六個月的跟進服務，以協助他們融入新的工作崗位。 就業顧問亦會為僱主提供支援，幫助他們了解殘疾僱員的特別需要，並協助僱傭雙方建立良好的工作關係。 另外，勞工處委託社福機構，為在展能就業科登記及有需要的殘疾求職人士提供專業的心理及情緒輔導，使他們能專心尋找工作，及盡快融入新的工作崗位，在工作上發揮所長。 勞工處推行就業展才能計劃，透過向僱主提供經濟誘因，鼓勵他們聘用殘疾人士。
