My son wants to stay in a hip area with loads of interesting things to do. Suggestions would be appreciated as well as hotel recommendations. Thanks.

Looking for a reasonably priced hotel, but location, especially to train stations is a priority as we have 5 days and want to see as much as possible. Is this a good location, and hotel if anyone has any input that would be great.
