I am a little late planning a trip to Japan in late September early October for 12-13 nights. My first thoughts are Tokyo 5 nights, Kyoto 6 nights and Hiroshima 1-2 nights. With day trips from each.
2024年4月3日 · 3. Re: First time to Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka - 2 Weeks) Apr 4, 2024, 10:00 PM. You have enough time at Osaka / Kyoto area to warrant an additional trip or two. Look into Hiroshima/Miyajima and as mentioned, Himeji. Some people also like to spend a night at a Koyasan temple. Reply.

Hiroshima main Shinkansen train station is beautiful and huge. I’m staying 3 nights at the Hotel Grand Via which is located adjacent to the train station.
