We have tickets to fly into Tokyo and hope to visit Kanazawa, kamikochi, Fuji, shirazawa etc. Our family dynamics is 2 kids aged 5 and 2. We love to hike whenever we travel.

Doing typical first time route of 6N Tokyo, 4N Kyoto, 2N Hiroshima, 3N Osaka, depart from Osaka. My 6N in Tokyo, at high level, look something like this. Arrive early evening, Hotel in Shinjuku.

2 天前 · Hello and thank you in advance for your help. We are a family of 4 (two teen boys - 13 and 16) travelling to Japan 28 Sept to 12 October. Its our first time in Japan - 14 nights. Our proposed itinerary: arrive early morning Sat 28th Sept (overnight flight from NZ arriving in Nirata) and we head straight out from Tokyo to Kyoto on train.

Second day started right in the morning with the weather gods extremely happy being Sunday, excellent weather, temperature ideal and all day slight breeze making our long walks very enjoyable.
