Leaving via Haneda late night of 7/12. Really hoping for daily gorgeous Momiji sessions. We will spend 2 days/1 night in Kamakura while the rest will be in Tokyo.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a tour to the imperial palace in Tokyo and can see that they don't have any appointments left. Is there any other option for me to get a tour? Im concerned about the iconic backdrops being crowded. We were considering going to Tokyo, Kyoto, Hokkaido and we are concerned that maybe it will be too busy.

We have been there before and stayed in Shinjuku due to the accessability to train station, convenience stores, restaurants, etc. I would like to know if there might be another area that’s similar where we can stay.
