The Judiciary is responsible for the administration of justice in Hong Kong. It hears all prosecutions and civil disputes. It is completely independent of the executive authorities and legislature. What is the structure of Hong Kong courts? The Court of Final Appeal is the highest appellate court in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Judicial system and our courts. It is fundamental to Hong Kong’s legal system that members of the judiciary are independent of the executive authorities and legislature. The Chief Justice is the head of the judiciary, both in a judicial and an administrative sense.
Legal profession. v. t. e. The Judiciary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is the judicial branch of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Under the Basic Law of Hong Kong, it exercises the judicial power of the Region and is independent of the executive and legislative branches of the Government.
