Walk till Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. 2- Get taxi from Arashiyama Bamboo Forest to Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), as I don't see convenient public service. 3- Get taxi from Kinkakuji to Hanamikoji Street and then walk down to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka.

I'm hoping it will be a bit more on the relaxing side, so I'm not putting too many sights on the itinerary and not going to include Enoshima (unless otherwise convinced).

If possible, we try to avoid driving at night but there may be situations that we might need to do so especially while holidaying overseas and get carried away.
