沙田大會堂 （英語： Sha Tin Town Hall）是 香港 繼 香港大會堂 和 荃灣大會堂 後第三座大會堂，於1987年1月16日落成開幕，位於 新界 沙田 源禾路 1號，由 康樂及文化事務署 管理。 沙田大會堂耗資1.38億港元興建，是 新界東 部的主要文娛中心，經常舉辦 戲劇 、 音樂 及 舞蹈 等活動，或是展覽及會議。 歷史. [编辑] 沙田大會堂連同 沙田中央圖書館 項目原本稱為 沙田文化中心。 地基工程於1981年至1982年建成，於1982年3月1日由 港督 麥理浩爵士 主持奠基禮。 政府隨後將工程批給日本承建商負責興建，合約總值9,300萬港元。 項目於1983年9月15日已動工，並且在1986年完成工程，1987年1月16日由署理港督 鍾逸傑爵士 主持落成啟用儀式。
Sha Tin Town Hall is a town hall at the town centre of the Sha Tin District in Hong Kong. It is located near Sha Tin station, Sha Tin Park and New Town Plaza. It is part of the podium complex which includes the Sha Tin Town Hall, Sha Tin Public Library and the Sha Tin Marriage Registry.
A designated area in the Plaza is available for hire by non-profit-making organizations for holding non-commercial activities not involving the sales of commercial commodities or services. 1 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, N.T. Hong Kong.
